Meeting of the Committee for Selection of Cities-Partners to Municipal Heating Reform project
IBSER continues implementation of MFSI project, in particular, in part of providing assistance to 5 pilot cities in terms of financial planning and optimization of municipal energy saving and economic development plans, bringing their infrastructure development strategy in harmony with financial planning.
According to the working plan IBSER cooperates actively with Municipal Heating Reform project (MHR). Thus, Iryna Scherbyna, the IBSER Director General, was invited to participate in the meeting of the Committee for selection of cities – partners to the Municipal Heating Reform project (MHR), which was held on September 15, 2009, in the office of MHR project.
Representatives of the Ministry of Housing and Utilities Services of Ukraine, US Agency for International Development (USAID), International Resources Group, Alliance to Save Energy, Research Triangle Institute, Association of Cities of Ukraine, Association of Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine, Local Development Institute also took part in the meeting.
Preparation of the selection summary and determination of cities – participants of the Municipal Heating Reform project (MHR) will take place at the second meeting of the Committee to be held on September 22, 2009.
