MFSI-II experts delivered a series of training events in May on Performance Program Budgeting under Decentralization for financial specialists in the Ternopil and Vinnytsia oblasts.
156 specialists of Amalgamated Territorial Communities (ATCs) and local finance departments, specialists of key spending units of the oblast budget, and Finance Department
of the Ternopil Oblast State Administration passed through training in Ternopil, on 18 and 19 May.
On 23 through 25 May, cluster training events took place in the cities of Vinnytsia, Bar, and Kalynivka in the Vinnytsia oblast, for specialists of ATCs, local finance departments, and key spending units. 415 persons passed through this training.
The training participants were introduced to the basics of PPB, guidance materials, and practical aspects of its application. Special focus was made on changes in the budget legislation, monitoring and evaluation of budget program performance, as well as the specifics of conducting a comparative analysis of their efficiency.
